My Approach

Life can be challenging and isolating, especially when parts of ourselves do not align with what is expected or deemed normal. My journey towards therapy started when I was diagnosed with a chronic illness that left me searching for compassion, meaning, and community. As a result, I have committed my practice to offering a safe space where people feel heard, supported, and valued.

I hold a Master’s in Health Studies that provided me with a unique perspective of the medical system and power structures that shape how we experience physical and emotional wellbeing. Having a Master’s in Educational Counselling has provided me with the tools to help clients challenge the beliefs that don’t serve them and instead connect with their truth and strength. I meet clients with an integrative approach that draws from Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. These modalities create space for people to make meaningful change, tap into their resilience, and find sustained relief.

I also employ mindfulness and somatic strategies to help clients feel connected to their bodies with more compassion and ease. I am continuously curious about the mind-body connection and a steadfast believer in the transformative power of self-love. You can expect curiosity, compassion, and kindness if you choose to work with me.

We acknowledge that there are 46 treaties and other agreements that cover the territory now called Ontario. We are thankful to be able to work and live in these territories. We are thankful to the First Nations, Metis and Inuit people who have cared for these territories since time immemorial and who continue to contribute to the strength of Ontario and to all communities across the province.
